I am an Industrial Psychologist, and thus my role entails applying the principles of psychology to the work environment in order to optimise individuals, groups or organisational well-being and effectiveness.

My university experience helped me to think and plan about my professional journey systematically; Exploring what problems I wanted solve, how I was going to solve them and getting the exposure to the people shared similar interests.

I spent 9 years at UCT, initially completing a Business Science degree in Finance focusing on financial modelling, and thereafter doing an Engineering degree in Electro-Mechanical engineering, focusing on machine learning models for real-world applications. It was an exciting time where I honed my skills, broadened my network and positioned myself to pursue my dreams!

My Wits journey was academically challenging and fun. The culture was quite academically focused and in the Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences schools, there were some leaders in the field. I met brilliant people who are now in my professional and personal associate networks.

I work as a Financial Analyst for a corporate advisory firm. What we do is basically involves the buying and selling of companies ( also known as mergers and acquisitions), raising capital for existing or operating companies and also project finance (raising capital for a company that is an idea and does not operate as yet)
